UPDATED – Following the unfortunate premature end of the season the Race Night will now take place virtually. All races will be broadcast to bet on with the first race at 730.

Rules for the evening are as follows:

£10 entry gets you £200 of “money” to bet with. 

If you run out of money you can buy another £100 for £5 (this must be sent to the men’s account!) if you want to. 

Winner is person with most “money” at end of night compared to how much they purchased. For example someone who only has £200 and finishes with £60 (30%) will beat someone who had £400 and finishes with £100 (25%). 

First race will be 730, then every 15 minutes 

You must pm your bets to Dors prior to start of each race  

You must bet on every race while you still have money.  

All horse odds are evens (for example you bet £10 you win £10) 

minimum bet is £5, no maximum  

You can also pay to own a horse in each race. Prize money is always evens if your horse wins 

You can also pay to be the jockey in each race. Prize money is also evens if your jockey wins 

You can bet on, be the owner and jockey of the same horse or any combination of the 3  

Tote style bets are allowed where you can bet on the first two or three finishers in any race. Odds as follows: 

First 2 any order 5/1

First 2 exact order 10/1

First 3 any order 10/1

First 3 exact order 20/1 

First prize £50 + case of beer

Please pay your entry into the men’s account in advance.

You must register your attendance for this event so DorsTours management knows how many race cards, cash etc to prepare.
