Following recent successful tours to Nottingham, Newcastle and Brighton, Manchester was chosen for the 2018 LHRFC tour. Scheduling issues saw this rearranged to London as a non-playing tour (with the exception of darting exploits at the Flight Club!). The theme of the tour was city gents, with a bowler hat being the official item of attire. In keeping with the London them, DorsTours was officially incorporated head by a board consisting of Dors as CEO, Ross as COO (in charge of discipline) and Barber as CFO (the money man). Justin was duly appointed as company secretary and was responsible for the recording of all disciplinary hearings and official company meetings. Special thanks must go the recruitment department, headed by Bobby, who smashed their targets for bringing new employees into the company. The procurement department headed by Tom also deserves special credit for ensuring that all company members remained well hydrated throughout. Punishments included Baker being joined at the leg to Bobby for trying to start a workers revolt that was quickly quashed by the management, and Tom having to sport a very fetching thong.
Ash was crowned the winner in the Flight Club, before official tour attire was donned for the trip to Biershenke and Browns. As usual, Justin was first into the strip club having slipped away from Bierschenke, though this time he was first out having been thrown out for repeated encroachment into the “VIP” area, before the rest of the company arrived. With the night drawing to a close there was time for one final argument with the kebab shop over doner meat and an encounter with a Thai prostitute sitting outside the hotel on a dirty mattress! Pure class.
Rev was named Employee of the Year 2017/2018 for his sterling work in ensuring that health and safety standards were maintained throughout.
